I've never been one for 'blogging' before. I've often thought about writing a blog, but then found that I've never had anything really useful to write about. Until now.
I started my Matched Betting journey back in August 2017. I've been gambling online for 10+ years, and throughout those years had already signed up to quite a number of the bigger bookmakers. I realised quite soon after starting Matched Betting, that this put me at quite a dis-advantage. I was unable to take advantage of some of the fantastic sign-up offers that the bookies give new members, but in addition had a relatively small bank to get myself going on what they call 're-load offers'. I didn't let that bother me too much though, and committed myself to Matched Betting with about £200. I started a 3-day trial with a matched betting website, and quickly realised there was serious money to be made. After a month or two, I came across a different site, called OddsMonkey. I signed up to a trial with them, and very soon after binned the original site off. OddsMonkey had all the same kind of tools, but a much better community, and at the time, a 2% commission deal with Betfair for all OddsMonkey members. Commission rates can make a big difference to profits. I've been a member of OddsMonkey ever since, and would recommend it to anybody who is currently matched betting elsewhere, or fancies earning a bit of extra cash. Time for a shameful plug. I have an affiliate account with OddsMonkey, which means that anybody who signs up via my affiliate link, and pays for a premium membership, makes me about a fiver a month. Register today for a free trial, and I promise you'll never look back. I'm now into my eighth month of Matched Betting now. Last month I made just short of £1,500, and four days into March, I've already made over £200 profit. I think in my very first month I made about £200 in total, and was over the moon with this. You can do it too!
